China Heli Expo

Just curious if any one is planning on attending the China Heli Expo Sept.15-18 in Tianjin China. I am going to be in the neighborhood and thought I might check it out.

In case anyone is interested I went to this expo. Looks like there will be many opportunities here in the next few years. I am currently based out of Shanghai and planning on staying a while to see what happens. If anyone needs someone on the ground in China send me a PM. I am almost fluent in Mandarin and have 10 plus years as an engineer in the industry in Canada.

Interesting, thanks. The other day I saw a job ad looking for experienced Canadian pilots for work in China - with China's recent economic growth it appears that they may be a new frontier of sorts for helicopter work.

I just attended a Turbomeca symposium where they announced they had calculated that a Country will develop a helicopter industry once the Country reaches $10,000 GDP/ capita. China and Russia are on the brink and they see them going over soon.
