How big a file is it ? I might like to get my hands on it too...

I'll check on that tomorrow, have an early start in the morning. A pretty good size for the whole 30 minute episode, but I can crop out the good stuff and just show you my bit if you want.

The earlier bits of the show have some great law enforcement (NYCP) footage as well as some amazing heli-logging segments with the S64F model on Vancouver Island. I flew a support role for it a few years back. It was something to see.

No. Not allowed. There's a really popular restaurant at the airport called Taifun. People actually fly in there to eat, with a view on the runway  . They have speakers on the terrace tuned to the tower frequency so people can hear what's going on...

For those of you that have not seen the Aerospace episode, it will be on Tuesday the 26th of April at 7:00am ADT on the travel channel (527 on Bell Expressvu) and again on May 2 at 8:00am and 2:00 pm on the Discovery Channel (523 on Bell Expressvu)

It is the "Helicopters at Work" episode, filmed four years ago when I had just arrived in Halifax.

Check here for other episodes...
