Guest plumber Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 I did the P/O thing for 6 years for a company out of Manning got alot of experience longlining and flying in different kinds of weather. You make good money, have a great schedule and you gain a great skill if you were to ever loose your medical. If you go the IFR route you have to fork out more money and never see a longline. Not saying that route is bad just saying there are good and bad in whichever route you go. I also miss having money to do things on my days off.
