CASO Technical Committee Meeting Here is part of it. 700.bb Duty Time and Flight Duty Time Limitations and Rest Periods (1) Duty time may not exceed: 75 hours in any seven (7) consecutive days; 240 hours in any thirty (30) consecutive days; 600 hours in any ninety (90) consecutive days; and 2,496 hours in any 365 consecutive days. (2) Subject to subsection (1), an air operator shall not assign a flight attendant for duty time, and a flight attendant shall not accept such an assignment, where the flight attendant’s duty time will, as a result, exceed 14 consecutive hours in any 24 consecutive hours. (3) A flight attendant shall receive at least 24 consecutive hours free from duty following 3 consecutive flight duty time assignments that exceed 12 consecutive hours unless the flight attendant has received at least 24 consecutive hours free from duty between any of the 3 flight duty time assignments. (4) Following a duty time assignment, an air operator shall provide a flight attendant with the minimum rest period and any additional rest period required by this Part. (5) A flight attendant shall use a rest period provided pursuant to subsection 4 and Section 700.ee (Time Free from Duty) to obtain the necessary rest and shall be adequately rested prior to reporting for flight duty.
