Precautionary Landing

Wow, I was flying along the other day doing some instrument work with my instructor when the helicopter gave a weird bump and erk kinda motion. We immediately looked at each other at the same time I was saying I didn't touch anything  . So my instructor took control and we did a landing on the pipeline. We couldn't find anything out of the ordinary except that each blade had scrathes on it near the tips on the undersides. So we figure we may have smoked a bird or something.

I got a great lesson out of the whole situation on precautionary techniques. I included a picture of us landing.
