Dzude
Check this out, these guys are on a 2 weeks trip around the world. We can follow their trip live trought the web. By the way, our company is also using the Lattitude tracking system. All staff have access to a password to see our fleet. This is very cool. No need to go see at the pad if your machine is back, just look on the net. We can also see where everybody else are working, plus it brings safety to the next level. Good luck during your record attempt http://www.grandadventure08.com/map/
BAH
We got the same in all but one of our ships, it will have it soon. great for finding out if the machine is coming home or out fishing. 2 weeks around the world, gruling but it would be an awsome trip

rainman
I've been following these guys since about Ungava bay, Canada. Very cool site. it's quite horrendous how little sleep and how many miles a day they are banging off! They are going to really kick the records butt assuming no unforseen problems. I'm guessing that the only machine that could beat them would be something like the Agusta Westland Lynx
widgeon
doubt if the lynx could make it that far without breaking down. Maybe a chinnok with air refuelling could shave a dew days off the record , flying in Russian aerospace could be a problem though.
rainman
For all those in Whitecourt, go show your support in the next 20 minutes or so. looks like the 109 grand on their big adventure will be there looking for Jet A. These guys are on one huge day for distance today. They started in Siberia whenever they started today.
