TC approved R44 to R66 differences type course with engine, available Jan 29-31/2024

Applied Aviation Concepts Inc. is pleased to offer the R44 to R66 Airframe and Engine Differences training course January 29-31, 2024. The approval number for this course is TC-2018-04-4263.

 

This 18-hour course will provide an explanation of the differences between the Robinson R44 series helicopters and the Robinson R66 series helicopters. The focus will be to explain the differences in operation, component location, servicing, removal and installation, and test procedures between the Robinson R44 series helicopters and the Robinson R66 series helicopters and to support a typical maintenance schedule.  The course will be comprised of 14.5 hours of theoretical training and 3.5 hours of practical training with a course total of 18 hours instruction focusing on field maintenance of the Robinson R66 series helicopter airframe and Rolls-Royce 250-C300 series engine. This course will be hosted by Select Aviation College located at 1739 rue Arthur-Fecteau, Gatineau, Quebec.
 

Course participant will require a minimum of two years maintenance experience on R44 helicopters or successful completion of the R22/R44/R66 Factory Maintenance Course conducted by RHC and successful completion of a Transport Canada approved type course on any of the Rolls-Royce 250 series gas turbine engines. We will require copies of those certificates for our records.

Currently no scheduled R66 courses planned.  Most courses that we offer are on request of an operator who needs it for there staff.  Some operators  may allow us to offer it to other students, if space is available.  If you need any courses, please feel free to reach out, and we will see how me might be able to help you out.

Should think about posting a course at a location of your choosing and see how much interest there would be.  If you build it they will come.
