Helmets?

I have recently taken a job doing seismic and my old gentex is just annihilating my neck. I am looking for any input on a nice light, comfortable, sound attenuating helmet. If anyone knows prices that would be greatly appreciated as well.

I think the Gallet LH 050 is about as compact and light as they get. I have an LH 250 myself and love it.

I agree the Gallet 050 about as light and compact as you'll get. Im 6'2 and and hang out of a 500 with one on and have no prob. Used to have a Gentex and that was another story.....

You could take your visors off too. That's what I did and it made the difference.

looks pretty sweet, wish I had the spare cake. The old gentex will have to do for now.

ya its not a bad price, a bit more expensive than the 250. i'm just wondering if its gonna make longlining a bit harder, the helmet looks to me a little shorter but wider... anybody have any experience with it?

One of the guys I work with has just brought one. Alot wider than a normal Gallet but not as tall . Personally I dont like it prefer my 050. He does reckon the comms are awesome though.
