Does anyone recognognize this AS350 rear shoulder harness kit?

Hi all,

I am in the process of trying to export this AS350 B2 but nowhere in the aircraft records does it say whose shoulder harness installation this is? Even the guys who re-webbed the belts don't know.

Please let me know if you have any idea whose kit this might be. Only visible P/N is 700236-1.

I recognize the parts but can not remember if it is early ECL or Dart.  Try Peter Swinnard the West Coast rep for Airbus.  He can probably help you out.

Thanks Birdman.  I talked to Pete. he says he thinks he's seen it before but doesn't have a clue. I also bugged a couple of other guys at Airbus.

I also emailed Dart and AAI to see if it was some obsolete kit.I haven't heard back yet.

NMH had a bunch of those and I hated them because there was no inertial reel. I was told they were the cheapest option available at the time, so possibly they were LSTC'd? As in they won't pass conformity perhaps?

They are Field Aviation Shoulder Harnesses and have a STC. The kit is pre Airbus/Dart kits

Check with Hydro One at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.I remember putting those in in 2 Astars, sn 2589  & 2568 I believe.The one in 2589 may have been replaced after it was rebuilt.I'm no longer with the firm's I don't have access to the STC.

Thanks and good call. I just found that out as well. STC SH96-34.

Good for reference just in case anyone wants to buy a deluxe kit like this for their machine.
