So yeah

 

There's a lot of documentation out there that still calls up obsolete hardware p/n's.... like AN960 washers (instead of NAS1149) or AN3-AN20 bolts instead of NASM3...

 

Both AN3 and AN960 were made obsolete way back in 1991.....among others

 

My question is, what are you actually more used to working with? The new or the old?

I still refer to them by the AN numbers.

The 206 manual still uses AN numbers for bolts.

 

Our stores department has a chart to convert the washers to the NAS number when guys like me ask for the AN number.
