Wheels Or Skids For Rocky Ground

I love it when someone says to "read the question".....best does not "mean" easiest.....best would in my point of view equal to the one that allows multiple times with ease and reliability taken into account. Best for lights is skids in my opinion.

Guess we would have to read the original question... "best for landing..."

 

Not talking about brakes or ease of maintenance, just landing, and for uneven ground I'm pretty sure the correct answer is wheels.

I've never flown wheels ......... I prefer low skids to high skids in the rocks. I guess wheels would be like low skids.

As half of my career has been both....quite simply, it's whatever you get used to!

Thanks to your input I managed to get the authorities over here to delete the question, although they actually want to modify it to mention large helicopters.
