I noticed that it said United States of America on the side of the helicopter, and it was also travelling with a second identical helicopter. This was spotted heading up the North Carolina coast heading to DC. Also it did not show up on radar.

If you had provided this info initially I would have told you it was a Bell-UH1N ,military helicopters are not certified as FAA approved. Do you have ground radar at your airport?

No, it's not. Charlie Brown gave you your answer. Bell 212 or UH-1N

Also, the MGTOW of the 214B is 16 000 lbs not 20 000 Lbs
