CIEH
Hi, At customer request, we are looking for a bubble window, on the L/H door of an AS 350 (normal front door). Tech-Tool buids one, which is called FWD cabin comfort window, P/N 3501CC-2025-3, but vision towards the ground is distorded, due to sharp angles in the plastic. If some of you know another design, with a better vision to the ground, thanks to help us ! Take care
skullcap
I would approach Eurocopter Canada as they used to sell them and stopped. Maybe they will tell you who manufactured them,,,,, Have used their bubble in l/h drive and some are really excellent although VNE dropped tp 138 mph I beleive. Some were distorted though due to the size of bubble. Left hand drive is useless without the bubble for longlining in my opinion, total pain in the patootee to take off doors, remove seat cushions etc for every job, specially this time of year. And also thought the door they have available which is all plexiglass used to be available as bubble but may be wrong there. good luck;
CIEH
I think these old bubble windows are now difficult to find. All the companies I contacted had the same reply: We used to, but we don't anymore.... Thank you for your help

CIEH
Have You called Eurocopter Canada? Ask for Nancy Gilbert and see if she can help. I called her today. No more bubble windows in ECL. I asked for a quote and estimated delivery date for a high visibility door. Price should be around 16,000 bucks (fwd door). The main problem may be availability. Waiting for her reply.
