So here's a question....is the iPad too....fiddly for a pilot to mess with while flying? I mean you HAVE to look at an ipad when you use it. There;s nothing "tactile" about it. Or is it just one more thing to look at among a bazillion other Garmins and cheltons and RG's doohickies you mess with in flight?

it's pretty easy to use

but

sucks with sunlight shining on it

and touch screen doesn't work with gloves on

 

might be fine in a 2 crew environment where left seat guy can manipulate it. Not going to be so easy squinting at it trying to find the right chart when you're by yourself.

 

Plus every simple minded pax is gonna want to screw with it
