Stars In Sask

STARS Regina....

First 5 years pay, (cost of living review and adjustment every 2 years);

$92,293

$98,459

$101,000

$104,000

$107,000

then $110,000 at yr 10 and $113,000 in yr 15.

RRSP match 5% in the 1st year, up to 8% in year 3, or thereabouts.

Wow, guess that would piss off the boys in Alberta considering there pay is no where near those numbers listed. We all know Stars EMS is one of or is the lowest paying ems positions in the Country, CHL first, HeliJet second and Stars brings up the rear.

well that's all 3 EMS operators in the country...so reverse the order for top to bottom :)

I'm not sure on the captain's scale.....but I do know FO's are higher at CHL..don't be so quick to throw them at the bottom (think post unionization CHL)

WOW for Command Instrument Rating, Multi Engine time, NVG and ATPL it pays very low. Can make more than that flying VFR with a CPL H in a single overseas.

I know ball park EMS in Australia just to compare- Command Instrument Rating, Single Pilot Multi Engine, Multi engine time, NVG and ATPL entry level as a Captain would be about 110k to 130k with good benefits. Also I think working for a non profit org there is some sort of tax incentive but to how that works I am not really sure.

No incentive staying with a company for ten years from looking at that pay scale.

Isn't it funny how STARS pay recently went up about 20k after many people turned downed positions due to the lack of income being offered.

My 2 cents

Are those the "new" numbers? I've heard they got reviewed just recently. Also would be interesting to see the numbers for FOs - any idea??
