Well I posted here first and then noticed you had started a new thread, so I cross posted on the new thread.

How about "avoid starting 5 different threads about a helicopter pilots association?" Which is the good one or the right one, who is up for the task and is one (or all) of you going to steal my 5 bucks and go and get drunk?

 

All kidding aside, once we get it all sorted out i think we need to do this. It would be amazing to have such a powerful lobby and we do need collective (pardon the pun) representation. Would using that same person who did that survey a while back about Flight And Duty Times be a good resource for something either now or down the road?

 

I have given what Skidz said about having just pilots on our association and i think his point has merits but how about we get the engineers to make a "twin" of our association and we could be separate but work together where it was advantageous, even in the future sharing admin costs.
