First Year Ame Wage

any ideas what can one expect as a monthly wage for a first year rotary AME?

the company i just left had a monthly salary of $2500

 

the new company starts there first year guys off at $1800 or so a month plus $2/hr fleet pay for every our every A/C flys....

the old place was $3800 a month for an AME, my new place is $3500 a month with a $4/hr fleet pay if endorseded on lights and intermediates, $6 for mediums

i'm at 2000 salary which works out to around 1620 clear plus some flight pay usually 120$ a month......#### all

heres another # for the new guys out there:

 

this is my first yr as engineer in rotary

 

3000/month (highest end of the 1st yr eng pay scale)

 

Flight pay - 20/ rev hour on 500's,206's

28/rev hour on L's, 350's

45/rev hour on mediums

 

flight pay is only earned for A/C you taking care of in the field

 

30/day away from base

 

also $5/rev hour of every A/C in fleet is put into a pot and divided amongst eng's and apprentices and the amt received varys with skill, endorsements, eng or app, and days away from base ( fleet pay can vary from as little as $50/month extra to as much as $1800/month extra, depends who you are)

$200/day plus $25/hr Flight pay and $25 day bush pay. Not to mention $35/day per diem and accomadations...........................

I paid my AME apprentices 100 a day and jumped to 150 for second year
