Bell 407 Tail Booms To Get Fresh NTSB Scrutiny

In the NTSB report the maintenance records show they changed 2 disk packs on the forward driveshaft due to "broken" in the month prior to the crash. My guess is there was something more going on in the tailboom attach area of this helicopter.

Part of my di on 407 or 206 was to give the tailboom a light push to see if that boom was attached properly. If you are having disc packs break you better start digging deeper...imho!
