NAV Canada new CFPS

Also if it's of any interest to anyone, I recently learned you can copy/paste METAR and TAFs to ChatGPT and it will interpret them for you, which is pretty impressive!

It struggles with the Zulu date/time combos though.

n order to find NOTAMs in the Nav Canada CFPS (Collabora;ve Flight Planning Service), when flying in remote loca;ons, coordinates can be entered into CFPS.

The format in the text box is DDMMNDDDMMW
For example: N56° 45’ W90° 31’ would be entered as follows: 5645N09031W

Check out:

Improves upon some of the look and feel and appears to use the CFPS website under the hood.  +Beers from me to this software developer and pilot from the Vancouver Area.

Getting simple links back for the GFA shouldn't be so hard, contact NAV Canada.  service@navcanada.com

I have already voiced my thoughts and concerns with them in a meeting on this topic a few months back.
