went up with Rick a couple days before the accident on a checkride. helluva nice guy, glad to hear he's recovering well! Copilot in alright shape?

how bad did Grumpy get bent?

The co-pilot had a few cracked ribs and some harness bruising....not sure who grumpy is? Rick or the machine

machine not so great

Rick....all the pieces there , just needs some serious hangar time

Speedy Recovery to Rick and the Co-Joe. Is Rick out of the hospital now?

Still in hospital , he is doing remarkably well , all things considered , and we hope to be in the OK within the next few days and relaxing on the deck soaking up some sun , and maybe the odd beverage!

If you have his company cell # please call...it is good for him to hear from friends.

thanks for the message , Sue

And was named Grumpy for Bruce Croft AKA "Grumpy". Bruce was with Black Tusk at the start, he died a few years later from cancer. Old Bruce took care of the wrenching end of things.

I spent some time in that ship. Wow am I glad to hear that everyone got out of that wreck. Heal fast.
