Anyone remember these familiar faces from the Chilko Lake Fire? We sure were roughing it!

 

It won't be too long before the fire season is upon us again. It is drying up fast in BC so far this spring...

There was a fair size grass fire North of Springbank airport this afternoon, started by a train. Interesting, that it was snowing quite hard yesterday and fires today! I believe Alpine had a 407 with some bucket support with the 18 fire engines!

...Are those Canmore guys and gals out poaching in your backyard again T-Rex ? You'd best roll out one of them big B2's and put a stop to that !

 

It's 0600 out here in the Rocks on a cloudless AM, and just about to light off the two pratts and burn a whole bunch of Jet fuel today

I'm sure they're are many companies out there that would take a look, but have you given Great Slave a call in Yellowknife. Good place to get your hands dirty. Lots of nice iron, and with your apparent sense of humor, you would fit in up there.

Is the fire season here already?

 

There was a 10-20 hectare fire near Clearwater, BC today that required the evacuation of two homes. Saw what looked like a Yellowhead 204 bucketing on the fire on the news this evening.

 

Burn baby burn!
