Fire Season Finally Went Off With A Bang!

It seems we went from practically no machines hired last week to almost everything today!! Heck, Alberta alone has almost 80 machines according to CIFFC...

 

Oh well, I guess we're finally going to be busy!

Looks like the weather here in BC has finally turned around and is becoming "summer"...

 

Fires are starting, let's all be safe, so that we can ALL be back on the site in December, saying "i was on that fire in....."...

Crazy lightning show on my evening drive from Canmore to Edmonton on Thurs night. In between my ooooh's and ahhhh's I could heard *Cha-Ching! Cha-Ching!* $$$

Boom-fizzle in Alberta. Rained about 100mm up here in the Upper Hay district where all the fires were.

Well it was a short run for me!!

 

Did a good week in Temagami/Link Lake, but got a different posting in Goose Bay, so no more fires this year!

 

But it was fun being in the medium for a change!

 

Cheers and play safe, the season is still far from over, even WITH some rain!
