I think Dan said it best. A case of beer (or other favourite beverage) for your AME can go a long way in sealing up your machine.

Either that or get handy with proseal and masking tape yourself. ;)

Hey guys,

I never had a problem in the old Bell 47 and most squirrels are tight too.

I can't say much for jetrangers or 76's though. My advice is to always turn so you're on the high side and let whoever is in the other seat tell you just how bad it is.

Maggy I'm not too interested in having anything to do with my engineers *** hair. It's much safer to just put a couple intermittent electrical snags in the book if he's getting lazy.

Just think, if you paid $25,000 for a small car and discovered it leaks around the windshield you'd have it back at the dealer's so fast he'd think that you never left but if your several million dollar helicopter leaks, it's "standard for type".

What's with that?

If the helicopter you were flying was brand new and the windows leaked, you'd be able take it back and expect some warranty work. Most if not all the helicopters you fellas are reffering to may be million dollar helicopters but they aren't new any more when they start leaking.
