Sorry ,it looks like the industry is changing and not in a good way.

Seems like it is harder and harder to make a living at this racket.

been at it for 30+yrs.

It's going to be really hard to entice new pilots to replace the guys retiring.

No one wants to live under a rock for a tour.

That's never been a problem in the past Julian, it won't be a problem in the future.

 

"If" the economy ever picks up again, there is going to be a shortage of experienced pilots. But let's wait for Shakey to weigh in before we draw any conclusions. lol

In spite of the economy, it's quite ironic that my phone has started to ring. Now that the government has kyboshed the TFW pilot loophole. It's funny how I see the same ads from the same companies looking for pilots. Or more to the point, trying to fleece the Government once again; claiming the can't find pilots. Perhaps it's time for them to rethink their sweatshop mentality. Now there is a pipe dream. lol.
