Just a heads up, this may be considered inappropriate by moderators.  Gotta tread lightly in our syntax in public 😉

Hah, well we'll see if what I say can survive...

And again, I believe taxpayers have the right to be fully informed where their government spends our money. I'd also like to know why BCEHS was so set on the AW169.

And it isn't like Agusta/Leonardo hasn't been caught in bribery scandals before...

The 145 is a tried and true platform all over the world for ems and a great machine to fly and work on.  I don’t know what happened but it’ll work out eventually.

Maybe they take the trolls (and themselves) too seriously, maybe they don't know how the internet works but it should be obvious that everything is ones individual opinion, even if you don't start every post with "In my opinion".

Outside of the Liberal party, that's still acceptable behavior in Canada right?

I wish I could be this optimistic but I have zero faith in the decision making process we've seen so far when it comes to the RFP.

That's why I'll be following this lawsuit closely, even if the government doesn't seem to care about it yet.

They do I can assure you, as well as how civil litigation works.

You have a right to your own opinion and a right to express that opinion. But you are accountable.  If by expressing your opinion, harm or injury is the result, you should be held responsible.  I'm not referring to someone being offended or insulted - but actual harm.  As in yelling "Fire" as a joke in a crowd that causes people to be hurt.  With freedom comes responsibility and accountability.

This logic can also apply to making a false statement for the purpose of maligning a person or organization; defamation, especially if you knew it was a lie or not based in fact.  It is not defamation if a statement is factually true.

I'm curious what's been said that's untrue...

Airbus is indeed suing BCEHS and one PHSA procurement person.

Is it untrue that someone at Ascent is married to someone involved in the procurement process? I dunno but it would be pretty easy to prove or disprove.

I assume as the lawsuits continue to be filed more and more information will be revealed and that's not something anyone should be unhappy about.

I don’t think anything that you stated was the issue nor the catalyst of the thread whatsoever.

There was a brand new member, FATO or FAFO, that had posted a picture along with some malicious accusations. It’s extremely rare that I’m shocked by what’s said on this site nowadays, but I was genuinely shocked someone would be dumb enough to post that on a public forum. Stupidity at its finest! I can’t blame VertMike for just deleting the thread, honestly I agree with the decision.
