What happened to the BC air ambulance post?

There were personal attacks made in those posts that have nothing directly to do with the medevac contract in question.  There is absolutely a high legal risk  to the individual/individuals who made those posts.

Sure...

I wonder which suit will be filed first, another one against the province for the RFP process or Ascent going after a forum poster because they said something mean.

Correct, but posting that picture and claiming several items of gross negligence is another matter.  Again, an unnecessary and vexatious post.  If there’s a concern deal with it personally and not publicly smear someone hiding behind anonymity.

Good point, I think we should learn more about the backstory behind that picture then. Yet another bit of information that would come out in a trial.

Remember this?  An almost 11 year investigation in pursuit of some kind of closure.  And the coastguard merrily ran these aircraft until retirement.

Good thing the new helicopters for this contract, the ones allegedly preferred by the BC government, are built by the company formerly known as Agusta Westland.

No allegations of bribery from that company...right?

AgustaWestland recently made headlines in Ontario when a legislative committee probing financial irregularities at Ornge learned of a controversial payment agreement with the Italian firm.

The committee heard that Ornge purchased 12 helicopters from Agusta for C$144 million, only to almost immediately pay $6.7 million in upgrade fees that were not approved by the board.

The committee also heard that Agusta paid an Ornge spinoff company $6.7 million after it reached a deal on the helicopters, which included a $4.7-million agreement for marketing services.

$150 Million and change for 12 AW139’s. How much I wonder for 7 AW169’s compared to 7 AH145’s. Also curious about how Stars like operating the 145’s to the 139’s.

I heard something about the infant chambers wouldn’t fit in the 145. We needed the infant ride with the S76 unfortunately and that’s what the crew had mentioned.
