Since no one has added anything constructive to this post it must mean it was a bull.....t to start with! To bad it would have been very interesting! :wacko:

 

To me its not really a rumour since notice has been given to the pilots of the change in guard. Where Mark is going? don't know? wish him well in his new adventure.

i just called there a few weeks ago to get trudy to send me some callenders (great slave has great callenders every year) an she said mark was lookin for pilots...i pollitely declinned (although gsl is a great company to work for)

thats the last i heard......where would he go...an whats this " new company" some of you are discussing? up in n.w.t? i think gsl has all the treatys in place to pretty much have a monopoly up there. very interesting though.

I don't know if it is a joke or not but the latest I heard at the hangar was a company is starting up called Great Northern Helicopters. Alberta money but operating in the north chasing up and coming oil work.

 

Sounds like a cross between Northern Mountain and Great Slave.

 

Can't people come up with better company names.

Hah! Never thought of that. I was thought it was a cross between Trans North and Great Slave.

 

I remember there once was a possibility of Mid West and East West merging. It was to be called Middle East helicopters.
