Well, a long time ago I got tired of my collective hand getting that hard callous on the palm of my hand between the 1st and 2nd fingers.....and it got larger as the years and hours went by...........so now I wear tight gloves for flying......Nomex by name.

Okay so we discussed what kind of helmets and boots everyone prefers, now i'd like to know if you prefer wearing gloves or not when you fly and if you do what type of gloves do you prefer.

I started out with the Nomex gauntlets.

I've been using the Mechanix type gloves now they don't strech and wash just a easily.

When I got a line on and your told to set the load in a tight spot my hands tend to sweat so the gloves help out alot I think, goes for the -15 to -20, gloves tend to keep the ol fingers limber!.

Guest bag swinnger

I had to swing bags for 5.8 hours today in flat light light and snow in -22 near Drumheller, so had the doors off for the extra vis in the Astar. I could not of done it with out the MEC fleece wind stopper gloves that Rainman mentioned. My feet have not been that cold since I was six.
