picapart
wasen't the helicopters fault this time. The tail rotor hit some trees or bush as I was told .
Rotor Break
The 500 has one of the most crash survivable designs going. This would most certainly have been worse if not for the roll bar design of this little work horse. This machine is used in some of the worst working environments out there. It’s a testament to the machine and the crews that fly and maintain these aircraft that there are not many more accidents. Glad the pilot and crew(?) are OK! T tail
Yep I might have to stop flying 500's as they sound dangerous, might have to go to Bell or eurocopter as I have never heard of one of them crashing, or even the Robinson cos they are really forgiving and accident free !!!! Cheers TT best wishes to pilot and crew
