Here is some accurate information:

The following email was sent to all EMS staff earlier this morning (Saturday):

Earlier this evening at approximately 2200 hrs EST, the S76 based in Sudbury was involved in a non-fatal aircraft accident while on final approach to the Temagami - Snake Lake helipad. There were four (4) crew members on board who suffered a range of non life threatening injuries. Members of the OPP and local EMS responded very quickly to the accident, securing the site and administering emergency medical care. The four crew members have been transported to the New Liskeard regional hospital for further assessment.

The Company Emergency response plan was activated and the Transportation Safety Board is enroute to the scene.

A formal response to this event is being coordinated by the VP, EMS Rob Blakely and Dr. Mazza, CEO of Ornge.

We commit to keeping all staff informed as we learn more about this unfortunate event.

All of the injured crew members have been either discharged or admitted to hospital. Further details regarding their status will be forthcoming as I get the information.

At present the cause of the accident is unknown. We hope to have more information on that later today.

I thank you all for your concern.

Thank you for that Walter. Rumour breeds in the absence of accurate information. I hope it all works out.
