helijoe
I assume that this is after they have satisfied all the requirements from the Canadian Immigration service. ?? Aviaion and immigration have nothing in common. One can get a commercial licence American or Canadian and not get a Visa to work. One is not dependant on the other. this does not stop unscrupolus operators from hiring people without visas (some like to call it advanced training)
volition
Good news for American companies!!! Canadians will be able to get their licence with 50 extra hours and still save a bunch of money!!! :punk:

Ryan
Good news for American companies!!! Canadians will be able to get their licence with 50 extra hours and still save a bunch of money!!! Almost sounds like those old hotel commercials.... Employer: "Are you a real Canadian-licenced and trained pilot?" FAA Newbie: "No. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!!" Winnie
Right on 412driver,, seen that befor, right WINNIE. And your point is???? You just spill what your passrate is, and I'll give you mine. Not gonna matter anyway, as most companies don't hire with less than 3-400 hours.
EC-130
^and that makes me wonder how "100 hour wonders" are supposed to get from 100 hours to 3000 hours without being hired? Those multi-thousand-hour pilots have to come from somewhere...
