Remember when this job was fun and you wanted to work extra? Now micro management and GPS this and that, don't you dare bank more than 30 degrees or we will know and ah #### it this job sucks. LOL! 4 more years and I won't even look back on the lie.

That’s not hyperbole either.  I cut bait years ago cross border and **** glad I did.  If you’re hanging in for a good severance / benefit contribution just keep on punchin’. Hopefully retirement will have some very well earned fruits of your labor :)

Anyone that’s been in it in Canada long enough knows he’s right

You boys need to get out and smell the cheese. Ain’t all that bad! But then again

A bad attitude is a bit like a flat tire….

Well set in stone is not possible, if its zero zero on crew change days, it is what it is.  Alpine and Ascent have been doing 2/2 for years now, and Blackcomb has been doing for a couple years now.  It is possible, and it is done.

I was asking if people know any other companies that follow suit.  I am not looking to get into a Vertical Forum toxic debate.

It’s 2024, we can track weather and schedule around it.  “Set in stone” is absolutely possible.

Ok, you're on a 3 on/off shift in the Artic, and it's been weathered out for 4 days in camp when your crew change is supposed to happen, and the twin otter can't get in to land at camp....explain for me the magic spell you cast that guarantees that crew change will take place on time?

Last time I looked, teleportation isn't real.

Or do you mean that you should be looking at the weather, and crew changing out early? Because I don't think the client is going to change their whole schedule around yours when sharing crew change charter flights. Is the cross-shift supposed to give up some of his days off early in that scenario, or is it only your own shift that shouldn't be interrupted?

#### happens sometimes.

Sometimes, not every time.  And that should be a caveat in the employment contract/employee handbook that said employees agree to.  It is possible, but not at every operator.  Even the inclement weather can be accounted for in a properly run organization.  Either way it is possible, next topic thanks
