What companies do 2/2 rotation?

Well set in stone is not possible, if its zero zero on crew change days, it is what it is.  Alpine and Ascent have been doing 2/2 for years now, and Blackcomb has been doing for a couple years now.  It is possible, and it is done.

I was asking if people know any other companies that follow suit.  I am not looking to get into a Vertical Forum toxic debate.

It is possible, and done in several companies outside Canada.  Shouldn’t be very hard to honour a set schedule.  No “toxic debating”, just explaining what I’ve observed over the years.

sorry to show my ignorance but is 2/2 2 days, 2weeks.. ?? one of my favourite shifts as a young medic was 2 days, 2 nights, 2 days off... 2 days, 2 nights, 6 days off... the down side was that you were always on call for the cross shift. If they had a transfer to the city at 1am, you were going to the base to cover... could be brutal sometimes..

I had 9 years at Airborne after starting in 2006, and never once missed a crew change date.  It was a 3 and 2 for the first few years and then a two and two thereafter.

That’s excellent, did they have you guys on a roster pre-populated for the year?  How far in advance could you plan your life like this?
